Japanese Embroidery, Phase Two WIP
Here is the beginning of Phase Two for my Japanese embroidery class. I love this design. Soon I will be working with more goldwork which is gorgeous!!!!
I loved stitching Suehiro. You have already made excellent progress. I look forward to seeing it develop. I was very interested to see the printed designs. It is the first time I've seen them apart from in the JEC publications.
Looks really nice. You are doing a good job. Is the dark grey dyed on the fabric, then you embroidered? My favorite and still is, the maple leaves. AnneG in NC
I am a mom first and my two best creative endeavors are my sons, Jamie and Kyle. Art is something that I have to do to be sane. I am lucky enough to have a husband that, although he doesn't understand why, still supports me in this. Although primarily a fiber artist (quilts, beads, felt), I also do occasionally still paint on a stretched canvas.
